FAQs

How do realtors get paid?

Usually, realtors get paid commission. If you are selling a home, you can expect to pay anywhere between 4 to 6% commission (split between both the buying and selling agents). If you are buying a home, you do not pay commission as this is handled by the seller.

While there are many different payment structures out there in the market, the above is what you’re most likely to encounter.

When do I contact a realtor?

Honestly, any time - even if you just need to chat with someone to get answers to the questions you have so you can decide if now is the right time for you to buy and/or sell. I also work with quite a number of interdisciplinary professionals and I can provide recommendations for mortgage brokers, financial planners, home stagers, and more.

I tell each client that it took my wife and I well over a year and over 30 home showings before we bought our first home. We were on an email list where we had homes that met our criteria get pushed to us so that we didn’t have to crawl through realtor.ca each and every day. What services do you offer?
